LifeHouse facilities and clients are in need of support in a variety of ways. Our buildings require maintenance and improvements. Our clients may need professional assistance in a variety of areas, and you may be able to assist them. These services could include legal, financial, medical, etc.
ChildCare
Do you find fulfillment in caring for children? Many of our residents have children who need to be looked after while their parent(s) are working on learning practical life skills and living a healthy life.
Life Skills
Our program gives residents necessary tools to function well in many areas. We will offer instruction in life skills, (relationships, parenting, hygiene, cooking, shopping, etc.), financial skills, job skills, and spirituality.
Bible Study
Many residents find healing in the word of God. Bible Study is lead by volunteers and we are always looking for new faces.
Testimonies
Storytelling is a powerful tool. If you have a story to tell that will inspire we have an audience that wants to listen.
Employment Partnership Pipelines
To help our residents gain employment quickly and sustainably, we are creating partnerships with local businesses.
Mentoring
Become a mentor and help a resident see what healthy, supported living can look like in real life. One hour a week can make a lasting difference.
Work Days
Periodically, we may need help with a project at the houses, or in conjunction with the program. This could include getting a house ready for residents, assisting with fundraising, or raising awareness.
